Order + email + last name must exactly match the store. Verification happens on our server — the AI never decides it.

The connection can only look up orders. It cannot modify them, cancel them or touch anything in your store.

Your token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before being stored and only decrypted in memory to query your store.

Common questions about the E-commerce plan

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You paste one credential from your platform into the ChatME dashboard, hit "Test & save" and you’re done. The Help Center guide shows where to create that credential in Magento, Shopify and WooCommerce.

Can the chatbot modify or cancel orders?

No. The connection is strictly read-only: it looks up status and tracking, nothing else. Changes, cancellations and returns keep going through your usual channels.

How is my customers’ data protected?

Every lookup requires three matching details at once (order, email, last name), verified on our server. Credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, data is processed in the EU and we are GDPR compliant.

What if my store is unreachable?

The chatbot handles it gracefully: it apologises, suggests retrying in a few minutes and offers your business contact. It never makes up order data.

Can I upgrade from Pro to E-commerce?

Yes, anytime from your dashboard. Billing is prorated against the current cycle and you can connect your store immediately.

What if my store isn’t Magento, Shopify or WooCommerce?

Today we connect those three platforms out of the box. If you use another one (PrestaShop, a custom build…), we develop the connection on request — write to info@chatme.es and we’ll look at it with you.
