Before you start: Add the code before </head> in your template’s index.php, or with a “Custom HTML” module published to a <head> position on all pages.
In ChatME, open “Install & share” and copy your assistant’s snippet.
In Joomla, go to Content → Modules → New → “Custom HTML”.
In the module editor, switch to code mode and paste the snippet.
Assign it to a site-wide position and to “On all pages”. Save.
Reload your page. The assistant button appears at the bottom-right. If not, clear the cache and try again.
