How to add ChatME to WooCommerce

Before you start: WooCommerce runs on WordPress: install it with a header plugin like WPCode or in your theme header. ChatME also connects natively to WooCommerce order status on the E-commerce plan: with a REST API key with Read permission, on a store served over https with permalinks set to anything but “Plain”.

Copy your install snippet
In ChatME, open “Website” (under “Channels”) and, in “Install on your website”, copy your assistant’s snippet.

Install a header plugin
In WordPress, install “WPCode” or “Insert Headers and Footers”.

Paste the snippet in <head>
In the plugin settings, paste the snippet into the Header section.

Save
It applies across the whole store, including product pages and cart.

Open your site and check
Reload your page. The assistant button appears at the bottom-right. If not, clear the cache and try again.
