How to add ChatME to PrestaShop

Before you start: Paste the code in your template’s header.tpl or with a code module. On the E-commerce plan, ChatME connects natively to the PrestaShop Webservice (1.7, 8 and 9) to check order status and live stock, with a read-only (GET) key.

Copy your install snippet
In ChatME, open “Website” (under “Channels”) and, in “Install on your website”, copy your assistant’s snippet.

Open your template header
Via FTP or the file manager, open themes/your-theme/templates/_partials/head.tpl (or header.tpl).

Paste the snippet before </head>
Paste the code just before the closing </head> and save the file.

Clear the PrestaShop cache
In Advanced Parameters → Performance, clear the cache so it applies.

Open your site and check
Reload your page. The assistant button appears at the bottom-right. If not, clear the cache and try again.
